Erik Aase - President

Work

Erik Aase was born and raised in Northern B.C.  After graduation he moved to Vancouver where he worked on several large projects in the construction industry.  He eventually moved to Whistler in the fall of 1992 and started his own construction company.  In the fall of 1997 he married his wife Heather and they moved north to Prince George.  Erik decided to return to school in the fall of 1999 and ended up graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNBC in April of 2004.  During this time Erik also became an RCABC certified roofing inspector and worked all over the northern half of the province.  After graduation both Heather and Erik wanted to move to the Comox Valley because of their love of the area.  In May of 2005 their dream became reality. Erik became a licensed realtor in July of 2006.

Leisure

Erik enjoys the many recreational activities that abound in the Comox Valley.  He is especially partial to rollerblading, biking, hiking and skiing/snowboarding.  On a winters day Erik and his family can usually be found skiing Mt. Washington.  Erik, Heather and their 6yr old daughter Vanessa love to go camping in the summer to Hornby Island and Miracle beach.

Hobby

Erik’s other passion is restoring old cars.  He is partial to finned chrysler vehicles from 1957-1961.  He currently is working on a 1960 Chrysler New Yorker

Dave Cochrane - Managing Broker

Work

Dave grew up in central Alberta.  He moved to the Comox Valley in 1970 and has been in paradise ever since.  Dave has been a licensed realtor since 1984.  Dave was at one time a majority shareholder at Coast Realty Group-Comox Valley.  Throughout his career he has always been a top producer and has become very knowledgeable about all aspects of commercial and residential real estate in the Comox Valley.  Dave is also an internationally recognized real estate appraiser.  As managing Broker he is responsible for all real estate matters of the company.
Dave's extensive knowledge of the local market enables him to provide the highest level of service to both buyers and sellers.

Leisure

Away from work Dave is an avid fisherman and enjoys camping around the north island.
He also enjoys taking his Quad out into the forest behind his house which backs onto Seal Bay Park

Travel

Dave has travelled extensively all over world to such countries as Russia, Taiwan, Mexico, Papaua New Guinea, Australia, Philippines, Holland, Spain, Germany and France to name but a few.

John Miller - REALTOR®

John has been a resident of British Columbia since 2002, when he first came to live on Quadra Island and has been a resident of the Comox Valley since 2005 when he purchased his first home in Courtenay. It was at this point that John discovered his affinity for real estate endeavors. Within two years he built on the equity from his initial home purchase to buy a second home in Port Alberni...

John then sold his Port Alberni home within a year, realizing a substantial gain in equity with the assistance of the real estate team that now forms Courtenay Comox Realty. Being impressed with their results, John opted to join the team. Real estate is John's passion and he wishes to guide his clients to succeed as he has in their real estate dreams and ventures, fully appreciating the life changing potential of property ownership.

Before entering the real estate arena, John has lived a diverse life in terms of both education and work. John's educational background is that a bachelor of arts degree in sociology earned at the University of Nevada (class of 1999) which included international studies in the United Kingdom at Reading University (1998). He has navigated several career paths before finding a firm footing in his current field. These range from working in research at the university level to income tax preparation and even include bar tending and taxi driving.

Having seen many walks of life, John is well grounded and confident in his knowledge and abilities and uses the full range of his life experience as the basis upon which he adds the skill set of his profession as a REALTOR® here in the beautiful north island.
